The concept of Betty Boop Hair Salon originated when Tony Perez was visiting a friend and thinking of opening a hair salon at the time. His friend’s wife was fascinated with Betty Boop and had her entire house decorated with Betty Boop trinkets and figurines, and that’s when his friend’s wife suggested that they name it Betty Boop Hair Salon. After doing some research and finding out that the name was available for use, Tony launched Betty Boop Hair Salon under his company and is now a subsidiary of Tio Tony’s Products and Services LLC.

Betty Boop Hair Salon 1^st opened on June 2, 2023. After some management changes and the recruitment of some of the best hairstylists in the area, we began with 2 stylists and now have expanded to 4, and are now looking for even more licensed hairstylists to join our growing team in our spacious salon.

In less than 2 years Betty Boop Hair Salon has achieved a reputation for excellent customer service, has now serviced over 1,200 customers and has achieved a GOOGLE rating of 4.9 and a YELP rating of 5.0., and is considered to be one of the best hair salons in the Throggs Neck area of the Bronx. Our customer service includes not only the best hair styling, coloring, haircuts for both men and women, including a natural hair specialist, but we also greet every customer with coffee, tea and beverages, and even complimentary mimosas or wine on the weekends and/or after work.
